A Family Campground
Since 1965, Douglas Lake Campground has been the best seasonal campground location in East Tennessee to get away with family and friends. We are a family owned and operated campground. Our guests become friends quickly and feel like family as they often return each season.
Our seasonal campground is on the lake in Dandridge, Tennessee. We are conveniently located off of I-40 exit 424, near French Broad Baptist Church and Swann’s Bridge.
Our seasonal operation dates are March 1st - November 1st each year. Our daily hours are approximately 7am to 5pm. We are open early for fishermen and close when we are not busy.
The campground does has a general store that sells artificial and live bait, RV parts, camping supplies, and LP gas. There are two boat launches with year round access to the lake. These boat launches are open year round. They do not close in the winter. They are self-serve and self-pay.

I’ve camped here for 10 years! Love it. It’s my way of relaxing. My neighbors are so kind and it’s a pleasure to walk the campground and enjoy meeting new folks. The owners of the campground are kind and seem to always be working around in the campground. There are loads of families and kids. My grandchildren have met a lot of great kiddos. There are residents in this campground that have camped here for over 30 years. There are others that have camped here as children with their parents and now they have returned to bring in their own children. Our little camping site is cute and we love it. If you are looking for a campground, I would highly recommend Douglas Lake Campground.
Like home… camped here for 24 years.
We have camped here for two years, we can’t wait for the weekends. Mike, Darlene and Ann are great. It is kid friendly and all our neighbors are great. Everyone acts like they have known each other for years. We count the days for spring opening day.
